Illegal use of Construction Dumpsters

Many of you know that we have been working with the builders to reduce the amount of trash that is being spread throughout our community.  The board has approved the authorization of fines if the builder leaves excessive trash on their construction sites and their dumpster overflowing.  We have seen a dramatic improvement from the builders in the last two weeks.  We will continue to monitor their job sites and dumpsters.

The builders cannot keep their job sites clean if the residents are dumping items and trash into the construction dumpsters.  If proof is available that shows who is dumping non-construction trash into their dumpsters, they have the right to charge that resident a $500.00 fee for the use of that dumpster.

The district is trying to help by providing a community dumpster on the weekend of April 16th off of the northern part of Londonderry, just east of the power lines.

PLEASE STOP using the construction dumpsters and dumping mattresses, furniture, and other items.  This dumping is illegal and makes our community look bad.

If you have any questions or if you see someone dumping illegally, please contact the District office.  Thank you.
