IMPORTANT NOTICE TO ALL PAINT BRUSH HILLS METROPOLITAN DISTRICT RESIDENTS

The COVID-19 virus has resulted in an increase in the use of “NON-flushable” wipes as well as other paper products that should NEVER be flushed. They include, but are not limited to, paper towels, paper napkins, baby wipes, sanitary paper products, and all other products not labeled as toilet paper. Once these products are flushed into the sewer system, they do not break down like regular toilet paper. Flushing any non-toilet paper materials/items causes clogs, backups, equipment and pipe breakages, and in some cases, can even force raw sewage back into resident’s homes. Non-toilet paper items clog sewer systems very quickly, creating expensive and unsanitary problems for homeowners.

Paint Brush Hills Metropolitan District asks all our residents to Think Before You Flush. Protect your family, your home, and your community from the unintended consequences of flushing anything other than biodegradable toilet paper. Unfortunately, the ones affected the most may be your down stream neighbors.

Thank you for thoughtfully keeping our community and facilities safe, clean, and functioning. If you have questions or concerns, please contact the Paint Brush Metropolitan District Office at 719-495-8188.
