Re: Essential development work on the storm water detention pond in Scenic View
Dear Residents of Scenic View at Paint Brush Hills,
The District is modernizing the detention pond, bringing it up to El Paso County’s current code. The project will be removing all the rocks (“riprap”) and replacing with concrete inlets, trickle channel, and outlets. The project is expected to start on Monday October 31st, 2022, and will conclude approximately 12 weeks later. Construction hours will be 7:00 a.m. - 7:00 p.m. Monday - Friday - with most days ending no later than 4:00 p.m.
There will be a security barrier around the site - please stay out of the construction area. Crossing the security barrier is considered trespassing. If anyone sees this occurring, please call our office at (719) 495-8188. Parking will be restricted in the highlighted area on the attached map during construction.
